Sleep & Sports, an online workshop, Monday, April 26th 2021

Elissaios Karageorgiou, MD PhD was the Keynote Speaker and facilitated the online workshop "Sleep & Sports: A natural boost to athletic performance” on Monday, April 26th, 2021. Directed to coaches, technical consultants, and athletes, this workshop discussed the current scientific evidence on the importance of sleep as a factor for homeostasis, neuroplasticity, and ecological superiority within the premise of sports excellence, and outlined principles of sleep assessment and interventions towards helping athletes excel in sports.
